About Semicon Weekly
India's chip news, explained simply for the people who want to work in it.
What we do
- News in simple words: the week's top chip stories, with why they matter for students and freshers.
- Events: expos, conferences, hackathons and free courses worth your time.
- Jobs: real openings for freshers and experienced engineers, always linked to the original post.
- Learning: what a semiconductor is, where chips are used, and the words you need to know.
Who runs it
Semicon Weekly is run by Sharan, an Electronics and Communication engineering graduate with a PG Diploma in VLSI from IIIT Bangalore. Sharan started it to give students and freshers one clear place for chip news, events and jobs.
Our rules
- We write every summary in our own words and always link to the original source.
- We check dates and numbers on official or trusted pages, and show when we last checked.
- We never charge job seekers, and we never post jobs that ask for money.
- If we get something wrong, we fix it and say so.
